Minnesota Roadtrip
Longest 1-day roadtrip... EVER!
I'd never been to Minnesota before December 2003, so I decided it was about time to go. My roadtrip compadre Margot and I set off from Winfield and ran through Wisconsin on the interstates, before arriving in the Twin Cities area. After exploring a bit in Minneapolis and St. Paul, we headed down US 61 and the Great River Road back to La Crosse, WI, and took the back roads to Madison, and then straight home from there. The top picture is of a very nice and ornate church in downtown St. Paul.
